When was the last time someone got on your nerves? I do not know if it happened to you, but sometimes I have met people who have seemed simply unbearable.
When it comes to moving forward towards the goal, there are many obstacles that come our way. One of the most common and the most important has to do with our way of relating to others. Our fallen human nature tends to judge, belittle, label, argue, get angry ... but the Spirit of God in us leads us to see all people from a different perspective.
Yes, that person who gets on your nerves is precious to God. It is true that he may have defects, perhaps even serious problems, but what is certain is that he needs help to get out of there, and God wants to offer it to him through you. Yes, from you! =)
Think about this for a moment: Why not celebrate the good things that this person has, instead of looking only at the bad ones? Why not thank God for the opportunity to have her in your life, instead of belittling it?
The Bible tells us: "Pursue peace with all, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14). Everything that comes from God is holy, pure, and full of peace. When we translate these principles into our relationships, we can see each interaction with others as an opportunity to enjoy peace, blessing, and even being able to see the Lord's work in the other person's life through us. This changes the rules of the game!
Dear friend, remove bad attitudes from yourself, and let peace flood each of your relationships! This will prevent you from falling into the ditches on the road, and will help you to continue advancing towards the goal swift and fast, leaving blessing in your wake.
I know you can do it!
You are a miracle!
